Here's the latest news from Sheila and Freddie

Hi Everyone,
Hope you all had a good winter! We left right after Christmas for Texas and started our
2010 Winter RV Resort Tour on January 2nd. Alot of highlights this year! Clint spent
two months with us performing in Texas and parts of Arizona and California and shows
with him were fabulous. He adds a great deal musically and is a great entertainer.
Freddie and Clint worked up some "two guys playing the same guitar" routines and
between that and the "Willie Nelson" and "Ring of Fire" spoofs we did, we had crowds
laughing, sometimes hysterically, as well as being musically entertained. We were sad
to see Clint go home the end of February!
We were promoting two brand new projects at shows this year. One is a CD we did in
tribute to Chet Atkins called "Sounds Like Chet". We've had great response from folks
with the tunes we played off that CD which resulted in selling out of that CD... twice!
The other project is a book/CD package called "Pick the Guitar Like a Pelletier".
This book/CD is great for any level of guitar player looking to learn to pick or play
rhythm to some new tunes. There's three ways to learn 1) pick it up by ear off the
CD 2) notation in the book 3) guitar tab. The chords are also written in. This
project was quite popular at the merchandise table too! Both the CD and the book/CD
package are available for purchase by going to the

Another highlight was being invited to be part of the "Bernie and Red" charity show in
Pharr, TX. This show raised funds for children's cancer and it was a great cause to be
a part of. Always a hoot to hang out with Bernie and Red.
All totalled we did 53 shows in three months. Great crowds and a very successful year!
We'd like to thank everyone that came out to a show and special thanks to the resorts
and their activity directors for booking us. Next year's tour schedule is already in
place with as many shows booked. They are listed on the
"Tour Schedule" page. Hopefully
we'll see you at a show next year!
This year camp will run Week 1 - July 19-22, Week 2 - July 26-29, Week 3 - Aug. 2-5.
We're in full swing with preparations for our 2010 Pelletier Guitar and Music Camp and
we are really excited about our line-up of instructors. I'm calling them the A-Team
because they are all outstanding musicians and instructors. Along with Freddie, Clint
and the amazing Bob Evans of Regina we are welcoming Redd Volkaert of Austin, Texas to
our guitar instructors. Redd has such a unique style of playing Telecaster guitar and
he's spectacular! He's toured with the legendary Merle Haggard and has played with just
about everyone. Artists like Brad Paisley, Ray Price, Vince Gill, Allison Krauss, Dolly
Parton to name a few. He's well respected by the country music industry throughout
Canada and the United States and we feel extremely fortunate to have him at OUR camp
to teach ALL OF YOU! He's with us in week 1 and 2. We're also thrilled to have
Daniel Gervais of Edmonton, AB instructing fiddle/mandolin in week 2 and 3. Linda
Campbell will be instructing the Very Beginner - Strum and Sing guitar class in week
3, Aug. 2-3. A few instructors are still to be announced depending on number of
participants.
Registrations started coming in for the 2010 camp as early as August of last year.
Week 1 and 2 are starting to fill up so be sure to register early to get your week of

Freddie, Clint and I will be at the newly renovated Rosthern Station Arts Center Theatre
on May 7th at 7:30pm. Tickets are on sale at the Arts Center at 306-232-5332. We'll
be looking forward to that! Clint and Freddie will also be promoting their book "Pick
the Guitar Like a Pelletier" at an in-store workshop at Long and McQuade Music in
Saskatoon, May 4th at 4pm. A number of shows are in the works for the fall so be
