- Twenty years teaching experience
- Proficient in country, swing, bluegrass & fiddle styles
- Previously played with Ian Tyson, Ferlin Husky (to
name a few) & currently with fiddler, Calvin Vollrath

Clint Pelletier (Guitar)
|
- Student of Grant McEwan College music program
- Proficient in jazz, classical, flamenco, bluegrass & fiddle styles
- Previously played lead guitar for world music fiddle group "Barrage"
and currently leads a gypsy jazz group called "Eclectrip".

OTHER INSTRUCTORS
Freddie and Clint are our two primary instructors and, of
course, are guaranteed to be present each week the camp is
held. The following is a list of tentative instructors. As
our class sizes increase we will add as many instructors
as is needed based on their availability. If you request
to be in a specific instructors class, please indicate
this on your registration form and we will try to
accommodate you.

Bob Evans (Guitar)
|
- Will instruct a fingerstyle class in Week 2 (July 28th - 31st)
and Week 4 (August 12th - 15th)
- Winner of the 2003 US National Fingerstyle Guitar Championship title.
Winner of a 2000 Prairie Music Award for Outstanding
Instrumental album for his CD 'Caffeinated Coffee'
and earned nomination for his newest CD in the same
category in 2004 with the Western Canadian Music Awards.
- This Regina, SK guitarists passion is in solo instrumental
finger style guitar and his original compositions and
Arrangements display a wide range of influences.

Dorian Michael (Guitar)
|
- Back by popular demand! Dorian's no nonsense approach and
dedication to his students in 2007 brings him back for the
entire four weeks in 2008!
- During 40 years of guitar as a profession he has
played plenty of blues, folk, jazz and rock.
- Performs as an acoustic soloist and describes
his music as 'contemporary traditional', original
music that reflects his interest in a number of styles.
- Has three solo CD's and a DVD to his credit as well as several ensemble recordings.
- Is the author of two books on alternate guitar tunings.
- Dorian lives in the country in central California between a hay
field and a waterfall.

Linda Campbell (Guitar)
|
- Will instruct a TWO DAY beginner guitar class the first two
days of each week.
- Credentials include B. Ed (Music), A.C.T.L. (Piano), R.M.T.
- Has been teaching beginner guitar as well as piano and violin for years.
- Developed a "Strum and Sing" guitar course that she'll use at the Pelletier Guitar Camp.
- Founder and multi - instrumentalist in Prince Albert all
female group "For the Love of Music" that earned a 2005 YWCA
Women of Distinction award in the Music category.
- Linda's program. was a hit in 2007 with beginner players.
