Clinton Pelletier

Just in his early twenties, Clint Pelletier's understanding and respect of the guitar far exceeds his age. He began to play at the age of eleven under the guidance of his dad, Freddie. Only three months after he started, his speed and dexterity were phenomenal.

A short time later he and Freddie produced a "Beginner Guitar" instruction video that was released independently and continues to sell well. They also recorded an album of guitar instrumental standards in 1999 appropriately entitled, "Like Father, Like Son".

In 1998 Clint traveled to Toronto to represent the superior guitar line, Fury Guitars at a guitar show and is now endorsed by them. He also snagged an endorsement with Elixir Strings, also a superior product.

At sixteen, Clint was recognized by Berklee and was awarded the B.E.S.T. scholarship. He chose to study closer to home however and enrolled in the Grant MacEwan College of the Arts in Edmonton in 2000. He studied jazz and received 'Academic Honor' and 'First Class Standing' while there.

Clint has since traveled the globe with Calvin Vollrath, April Verch and world famous group 'Barrage' performing for Prince Albert of Monaco, Jay Leno, Disney Land and World as well as for numerous corporate giants. In 2006 he was honored with the City of Edmonton's 'Performance Award' for outstanding contributions to the arts.

Clint and music partner Daniel Gervais have co-created two separate groups. One, called Hot Club of Edmonton recently won a 2010 Western Canadian Music Award for Instrumental Album of the Year for their self titled CD. It features gypsy-jazz music of the 30's and 40's and original material. The other, called 'Eclectrip ... A Musical Journey' features music from around the world as played by Clint and Dan.

Clint owns and operates an impressive state of the art digital recording studio. "Reel Time Studios" in Edmonton, Alberta is active with projects of all genres with Clint at the helm as engineer and most often producer. He offers recording artists a unique experience where they can rely on him and his team for everything from assistance arranging tunes, finding musicians, dealing with CD artwork and manufacturers, to providing meals and accommodations. All that at very reasonable rates! You can refer to www.clintonpelletier.com for more information.

The sky is the limit for a young virtuoso guitarist that has the drive and determination that Clint has displayed. Nothing but greatness can come from it all!
